This workshop/exhibition explores how performance art reflects the times, situations and spaces it is created in, and how it can persist within its residues and documentation. A group of artists utilized the SESC galleries and its surroundings in the city of Joinville as an experimental, collective laboratory, with the common interest of pushing the limits of performance and intermedia practices. Video artist Marcos Serafim produced and directed a series of experimental videos documenting the process and interfering in the performative environment with his body/camera. The result was a living gallery exhibition with videos and sculptural residues that index the distinct performative actions.
